BlockBundle Terms of Use

Effective date: August 18, 2026 Last updated: August 24, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and AI Business Consulting LLC, doing business as BlockBundle ("BlockBundle," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the website at blockbundle.app, our mobile and web applications, and all related services (together, the "Platform").

BlockBundle is a marketplace that helps homeowners book neighborhood home services - such as lawn mowing, gutter cleaning, and snow removal - from independent local service providers, and that arranges pricing and payment for those services.

Please read these Terms carefully. Section 16 contains an agreement to resolve most disputes through binding individual arbitration and a waiver of class actions. Section 6 explains how recurring, seasonal, and per-event Services are booked and charged, and how to cancel.

By creating an account, booking a service, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Who We Are and What BlockBundle Does

1.1 A marketplace, not a service provider. BlockBundle operates a technology platform that connects homeowners ("Homeowners," "you") with independent third-party service providers ("Providers") who perform home services ("Services"). BlockBundle does not itself perform lawn mowing, gutter cleaning, snow removal, or any other Service. Providers are independent businesses and independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers of BlockBundle, and nothing on the Platform creates any such relationship.

1.2 What we do. We estimate property features (such as lawn area, driveway or hardscape area, and walkway or sidewalk length) from your address using mapping and satellite data, show you a property-specific price where we offer instant pricing, arrange bookings, and collect and remit payments. Your price is based on your property, the Provider's trip cost to reach and set up at your area, and how many nearby homes share that trip. As more nearby homes book the same Service, the trip cost can be shared and your per-home price can fall. Property measurements are estimates and are an input to the price, not a survey; see Sections 3 and 4.

1.3 What we do not do. We do not supervise, direct, or control the manner or means by which Providers perform Services. We do not guarantee that any Provider will accept a booking, or the quality, timing, legality, or outcome of any Service, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

1.4 Operator and contact. The Platform is operated by AI Business Consulting LLC. Questions about these Terms may be sent to legal@blockbundle.app or to AI Business Consulting LLC, 2760 Derbyshire Road, Cleveland Heights, OH 44106.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

2.1 Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old, be able to form a binding contract, and use the Platform only for a residential property you own, rent, or are otherwise authorized to arrange Services for. By booking, you represent that you have authority to permit Providers to enter and work on the property at the service address.

2.2 Your account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

2.3 Property information. You authorize BlockBundle to obtain, generate, and use measurements and characteristics of the property at your service address to price and arrange Services and to help you and Providers understand the property. Automated property measurements are estimates and may not perfectly match your property; see Section 4.

3. How Booking Works

3.1 Instant pricing. You enter a service address. Where we offer instant pricing (today, lawn mowing, and snow removal in states where we offer it), we show you a property-specific price for that Service. That price is built from (a) a property component that scales with the serviced area or path we measure or you outline (for snow removal, paved area and, where you draw them, walkway or sidewalk length), and (b) the Provider's trip cost (travel and setup), which nearby homes can share. For other Services, we may collect a request and connect you with Providers when we can quote. We may change how we calculate prices over time; the Provider price shown to you at the time you book is the starting Provider price for that booking, as described in Section 3.4.

3.2 Book individually, save collectively. You book on your own; you never need to organize or wait for a group. As more nearby homes book the same Service, they can share the Provider's trip cost, so your per-home price may be lower than it would be if you booked alone. Savings depend on how many neighbors participate, on measured property size, and on Provider economics, which change over time, and are not guaranteed. Any savings figures, ranges, or examples we show are estimates, not promises of a specific outcome or amount.

3.3 Accepting a booking. A booking is a request until a Provider is matched and, for Services that have planned visits, the Service is scheduled. For a per-event Service, confirmation means a Provider has accepted a standing booking; visits are not planned in advance. We will tell you when your booking is confirmed. We may decline or cancel a booking if no Provider is reasonably available, if the property information is inaccurate, if payment cannot be authorized, or as otherwise described in these Terms.

3.4 Price changes. The Provider price shown at the time you book is the starting Provider price for that booking. The marketplace fee described in Section 5.3 is added when we charge you. If more nearby homes book the same trip, your Provider price may fall. We will not raise the Provider price of a booked visit without the notice described in Section 6, except for a material on-site adjustment under Section 4 that you approve. For recurring and per-event Services, prices may also change over time as described in Section 6; we will give you advance notice of any increase before it takes effect.

4. Property Measurement and Estimates

4.1 Estimates. Property measurements are automated estimates, which you may adjust by outlining the area or path to be serviced on the map. The outline may be a lawn, a paved driveway or hardscape area, a walkway or sidewalk centerline, or more than one of these. A path shown on the map has a display width so you can see it; that width is a drawing aid, not a survey of the path's real width, and walkways are priced by centerline length. They are an input to your price, not a survey or a guarantee of lot boundaries, area, or conditions. Actual conditions - lot boundaries, obstacles, slope, gates, pets, ice, or the amount of snow - may differ.

4.2 Adjustments. If on-site conditions differ materially from what was expected in a way that affects the Service, we or the Provider may adjust the price or scope, and we will seek your approval of any material increase before performing the affected work or charging you for it.

5. Payments, Fees, and Our Role in the Transaction

5.1 We collect payment. BlockBundle collects payment from you for Services and arranges payment to Providers. You pay BlockBundle; BlockBundle pays the Provider. Payment processing and payouts are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are also subject to Stripe's terms.

5.2 Payment method required. You must provide a valid payment method and authorize BlockBundle (through Stripe) to charge it before a Service begins. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the Services you book, including recurring charges for recurring Services, per-event charges for per-event Services, and any adjustments you approve.

5.3 Marketplace fee. The price we show you at quote and booking is the Provider's price for your property. When we charge you, we add BlockBundle's marketplace fee (currently approximately 10% of that Provider price) for operating the Platform, arranging the Service, and processing payment. Your total charge is the Provider price plus that fee, plus any tax added under Section 5.5, unless we show you a different all-in amount. We may change the fee prospectively; changes will not affect a Service you have already booked.

5.4 Our role in payment. BlockBundle collects payment for Services as a limited payment-collection agent for Providers, retaining its marketplace fee and remitting the remainder to the Provider. Amounts collected as tax under Section 5.5 are remitted to taxing authorities, not to the Provider. This does not make BlockBundle the provider of the Services, which are supplied by the Providers as described in Section 1.

5.5 Sales and similar taxes. The Provider price and marketplace fee we show you may not include sales, use, or similar taxes. When we add those taxes to a BlockBundle charge, you pay them to BlockBundle, and BlockBundle remits them to the taxing authorities where BlockBundle is the responsible marketplace facilitator for that BlockBundle sale. If we add tax, it appears as a separate amount on the charge. We calculate that tax on the BlockBundle charge for the Service (the Provider price plus our marketplace fee), unless a different taxable amount is required by law or shown to you at checkout. Providers do not collect those taxes from you on those BlockBundle transactions. This does not mean BlockBundle handles all of a Provider's tax obligations. Providers remain responsible for their own income and self-employment taxes, and for any other registration, filing, reporting, licensing, or tax obligations that apply to their business. Collecting tax as a marketplace facilitator does not make BlockBundle the employer of any Provider or the performer of any Service.

5.6 When you are charged. Unless stated otherwise at booking, we authorize your payment method before the Service and charge you when the Service is completed (or, for recurring Services, on each visit in the series). For a per-event Service, we charge you when the Provider records a qualifying event, as described in Section 6.2. For a seasonal Service charged as a single up-front price (including any already-booked seasonal snow booking), we charge the disclosed season price at booking, as described in Section 6.2.

6. Recurring, Seasonal, and Per-Event Services and Cancellation

6.1 How Services are scheduled and booked. Some Services are booked as a planned series of visits, some as a prepaid season, and some as a standing per-event booking. None of these is an open-ended subscription that renews itself into a new period:

  • Recurring Services (such as lawn mowing) are booked as a planned series of visits on a schedule (for example, weekly visits over a state's mowing season). We show you the schedule and the price for each visit before you book.
  • Per-event Services (today, snow removal for new bookings) are a standing booking. We do not plan visit dates when you book. You are charged each time the Provider records a qualifying event under the rules we show you at booking (for example, a trigger depth and a daily cap). Cancelling a standing per-event booking that has no scheduled visit is free under Section 7.1.
  • Seasonal Services cover a defined season and may include multiple visits. Where a seasonal Service is charged as a single up-front price for the season - including any already-booked seasonal snow booking we still honor - we tell you that price and what it covers before you book. New snow-removal bookings are per-event, not prepaid seasonal, unless we expressly show you a prepaid season price at booking.

6.2 What you are charged. For a recurring Service, your payment method is charged for each visit in the planned series, as described in Section 5.6. For a per-event Service, your payment method is charged when the Provider records a qualifying event, at the per-event price disclosed at booking (plus the marketplace fee in Section 5.3, and any tax added under Section 5.5). We will not charge you for an event you did not receive. For a seasonal Service charged up front, your payment method is charged the disclosed season price at booking. We will not charge you for visits or events beyond what you booked without your agreement.

6.3 If we ever offer automatically renewing Services. BlockBundle does not currently enroll you in any Service that renews automatically into a new period without a new booking. If we later offer a Service that renews automatically, we will disclose the renewal schedule and price, obtain your consent, send you a reminder before each renewal, and give you a clear and easy way to cancel, consistent with applicable auto-renewal laws.

6.4 How to cancel. You may cancel your remaining Services, a standing per-event booking, or any upcoming visit at any time through your account on the Platform, or by contacting legal@blockbundle.app. Cancellation is effective for any visit not already in progress or dispatched, subject to the cancellation-timing rules in Section 7. Cancelling a standing per-event booking that has no scheduled visit is free. Cancelling is at least as easy as booking.

6.5 One-time Services. Some Services, such as gutter cleaning, are a single visit and are not part of a series.

7. Rescheduling, Cancellations, and Refunds

7.1 Your cancellations. You may cancel or reschedule an upcoming visit up to 24 hours before the scheduled service window at no charge. Cancellations after that cutoff, or when a Provider has already been dispatched or begun work, may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the Service price to compensate the Provider for reserved time and travel. A standing per-event booking with no scheduled visit is treated as having no upcoming visit, so that cancellation is free.

7.2 If a Service is not performed or is deficient. If a Provider fails to perform a confirmed Service, or performs it materially below a reasonable standard, contact us within 72 hours of the scheduled service. We will work with you and the Provider to re-perform the Service, or we will refund or credit the affected Service price to your payment method.

7.3 Refund method and timing. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through Stripe and may take several business days to appear. If we collected tax on a refunded charge, we refund that tax with the charge unless a taxing authority requires a different process.

7.4 Chargebacks. If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution.

7.5 Provider cancellations. If a Provider cancels, we will try to reassign the Service; if we cannot, you will not be charged for that visit, or we will refund it.

8. Provider Information and Verified Claims

8.1 Provider credentials. Information about Providers - including services offered, service areas, ratings, and any licensing or insurance details - comes from Providers and from BlockBundle's own records.

8.2 Verified claims. We describe a Provider as "licensed," "insured," or "background checked" only where BlockBundle has taken steps to verify that status; where we have not verified a claim, we do not make it. Verification is not a guarantee of a Provider's ongoing licensure, coverage, conduct, or work quality, and licensing and insurance requirements vary by state and locality.

8.3 Ratings and reputation. Ratings, reliability data, and reviews reflect information reported to BlockBundle and are provided to help you make a decision, not as a guarantee of any outcome.

9. Your Responsibilities at the Property

9.1 Access and safety. You agree to provide safe and lawful access to the property at the scheduled time, including unlocking gates, securing pets, and disclosing hazards or hidden features (such as irrigation heads, invisible fences, or septic lids) that could be damaged or cause injury. For a per-event Service, that includes providing access when the Provider performs a qualifying event under the rules shown at booking.

9.2 Authorization. You confirm you are authorized to have Services performed at the address and that doing so does not violate any lease, HOA rule, or local ordinance that is your responsibility to observe.

9.3 Your conduct. You will treat Providers respectfully and will not ask them to perform work outside the booked Service through the Platform.

10. Provider Relationship and Off-Platform Dealings

10.1 Independent contractors. Providers independently determine how to perform Services and supply their own tools, equipment, and labor.

10.2 No circumvention. BlockBundle invests in matching, routing, and pricing. While you are using the Platform and for 90 days after a Provider first serves your property through the Platform, you agree not to use BlockBundle's introductions, contact details, or pricing information to arrange the same recurring or per-event Service with that Provider off-Platform for the purpose of avoiding our marketplace fee. This does not restrict your right to hire any provider you find independently, and it does not apply after that 90-day period or once you stop using the Platform.

11. Communications and Consent

11.1 Service communications. By creating an account or booking, you agree we and our Providers may contact you about your account and Services by email, SMS, push notification, and phone, including automated messages, at the contact details you provide.

11.2 Invitations and referrals. The Platform lets you invite neighbors by sharing a link or a copy-and-paste message that you send yourself. BlockBundle does not send those invitations for you by SMS or email. A share link may include your service address, which anyone you send it to can see. You will only send invitations to people who have agreed to receive them, and you will not use the Platform to send unlawful or unsolicited messages. You are responsible for the contacts you choose to invite.

11.3 Marketing messages. We will only send you marketing emails or texts where permitted, and you can opt out at any time (reply STOP to texts or use the unsubscribe link in emails). Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about your Services.

11.4 Neighborhood visibility. Where the Platform offers features that show neighborhood participation or savings, they display information in an aggregated or de-identified form and are designed not to reveal an individual neighbor's identity or address without appropriate consent; see the Privacy Policy for details. Your own invite link is different: if you share it, you are choosing to show your address to the people you send it to.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: misuse or interfere with the Platform; provide false information; book Services you are not authorized to arrange; harass or discriminate against Providers or staff; scrape, copy, or resell Platform data, including pricing, property, or route data; or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

13. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, pricing models, property and route data, text, and design, is owned by BlockBundle or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You retain rights to content you submit, and you grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the Platform and to display ratings and reviews.

14. Disclaimers

14.1 Platform "as is." The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlockBundle disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14.2 Services performed by Providers. Because Services are performed by independent Providers, BlockBundle does not warrant the quality, safety, timeliness, or legality of any Service, except for the re-performance and refund commitments expressly stated in Section 7.

14.3 No guarantee of savings. We do not guarantee any particular price, savings amount, route density, or neighborhood participation.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

15.1 Cap on liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlockBundle's total liability to you arising out of or relating to the Platform or any Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to BlockBundle for the Service giving rise to the claim in the 3 months before the claim, or USD 100.

15.2 No indirect damages. BlockBundle will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or property damage caused by a Provider, except to the extent such limitation is not permitted by law.

15.3 Property damage or injury by a Provider. Claims for property damage or personal injury caused by a Provider are between you and the Provider; BlockBundle will reasonably assist by sharing relevant booking information and, where applicable, the Provider's insurance details. BlockBundle does not itself guarantee or insure a Provider's work, and any Provider insurance requirements are set out in the applicable Provider agreement.

15.4 Your indemnity. You agree to indemnify BlockBundle against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, your failure to provide safe or authorized property access, or content you submit.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for our own fraud or gross negligence, or your rights under non-waivable consumer-protection laws.

16. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

16.1 Informal resolution first. Before starting a formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at legal@blockbundle.app and give us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally.

16.2 Binding arbitration. Except for the exceptions below, disputes between you and BlockBundle will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its consumer rules, rather than in court.

16.3 Class-action waiver. You and BlockBundle agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as part of a class or representative action.

16.4 Exceptions. Either party may bring a claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property or unauthorized-use claims.

16.5 Your right to opt out. You may opt out of arbitration by notifying us at legal@blockbundle.app within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

17. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where your local consumer-protection law provides rights that cannot be waived. For any dispute not subject to arbitration under Section 16, and for enforcement of an arbitration award, you and BlockBundle agree to the exclusive venue of the state and federal courts located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, to the extent permitted by law.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or in the Platform) before they take effect. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. For recurring, seasonal, and per-event Services, material changes affecting price or scheduling will be handled under Section 6.

19. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and cancel Services at any time under Sections 6 and 7. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to comply with law, and we will handle any Services already booked fairly. Sections that by their nature should survive - including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution - survive termination.

20. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms shown at booking, are the entire agreement between you and BlockBundle regarding the Platform. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor.

BlockBundle is a service of AI Business Consulting LLC. BlockBundle is a marketplace and does not itself perform home services.
